Clients need insight from attorneys such as Ms. Strawder who know how to navigate the critical intersection of law, regulation and policy. Iyman is an innovator, a challenger and a leader; her ability to engage and advance the goals of our clients fit the commitment of the Kelley Law firm to deliver the highest-quality of representation.

Iyman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard University with a degree in Legal Communications. While in D.C., she served as a White House Office of Presidential Correspondence aide and as an intern for United States Representative William Lacy Clay. During her last year at Howard University, she was recruited by Pepperdine University School of Law in Southern California.

At law school, Iyman was a member of Pepperdine’s award- winning trial team and served on Pepperdine’s Moot Court board. She not only earned her Juris Doctorate, but also has a Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution. After successfully passing the California State Bar in 2015, she set her sights on Texas and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2017.

Iyman was born and raised in Long Beach California, where she attended Polytechnic High School. She lettered in Dance and Academics. Growing up in this underserved environment did not deter Iyman from her goals to become an attorney and ensure people from all socio-economic backgrounds to equal and fair access to the law.
